Hoop Dreams has been an inspiration to me as I began my work in the nonprofit sector with youth in DC. Your energy, enthusiasm, dedication and commitment to our youth in the community and their families, is awesome. You are a great cheerleader for our youth and know you are a very special person to me.

I am so sorry to hear about the closing down of Hoop Dreams. I know how hard you have worked and the great thing is you did make a massive impact that will go on for generations. You should be proud of what you built and maybe this is an opportunity for you to find another focus in your life. It has been to long since we have spoken, so lets make it a point to get together at some point soon. Sorry again to hear the news.

I am so sorry to hear the news of Hoop Dreams closing. Hoop Dreams has helped me in so many ways. I very much appreciate what you all have done for me.
